Why it matters

DGFT schemes, GST refunds and status-holder applications rely on realisation data. Without it, benefits can be recovered and your bank's export record stays open.

What goes on it

  • IEC, bank and branch
  • Shipping bill number and date
  • Amount realised in foreign currency and in rupees
  • Date of realisation

Avoid these mistakes

  • Give your bank the shipping bill details for every inward payment so it can link them.
  • Check the DGFT e-BRC page after each realisation; chase your bank if it does not appear.
